Description ProRacing Chip Box CR2 PRO
ProRacing Chip Box CR2+PRO is a technologically advanced device programmed to work with diesel engines with the Common Rail injection system. The device is programmed individually for each engine type by a dedicated programmer and using computer software. The device is connected in the engine compartment. Includes dedicated cables with Plug & Play plugs, USB cable programmer and software on CD.
The unit provides multiple reprogramming and customizable settings - so we can match the chip to our car and driving style.
The device is prepared for mounting in the engine compartment, to a suitable sensor on the common rail. As a result, we modify the data transmitted between the control computer (ECU) and the corresponding sensor, including fuel injection, fuel charge, turbocharger boost, air feed rate, engine speed, throttle position, injector opening time.
Purpose of the program:
The program is used to set fuel pressure correction parameters applied to the injection system of diesel engines. Correct modification of these parameters increases the torque and power of the engine without the damage to engine and cleanliness of exhaust gases.
Programmer as a device that controls the change of parameters is made with modern microelectronic technology, and applied solutions put this product in the forefront of similar solutions. Robust construction and no moving parts guarantee reliable operation in all conditions for a long time.
How do we program the CR-2 device?
We program the device using the programmer and included software, which guarantees fast access to selected parameters.
We can program four key zones responsible for:
K1. The overall power of the vehicle.
K2. Power in the range of low revs.
K3. Power in the range of medium revs.
K4. Power in the range of high revs.
Resolution settings are in the range of 1 to 20, with 1 being the weakest setting and 20 the strongest.
For each "K" parameter there is a scale from 1 to 20. In case the car has a particulate filter (DPF / FAP), parameter K4 should be set to "0".
Other zones requiring programming are:
Final correction - the parameter expressed in percent. It automatically changes the value of all parameters "K" in the set percentage range.
Start voltage - is responsible for the operating voltage from which the device is to start. The sensor on the common rail is operating in the range of 1 to 5 V. This voltage changes, among other, after pressing the gas pedal. The preferred setting is 2.2
Start delay - this is the time (in seconds) from the start of the engine, informing you when the device was started. It should be set to at least 10 seconds.
Settings for individual correction zones are included in a comprehensive database of car brands, engine models and engine versions, determined by engine power (KM). The assigned settings can be found in the software included on the CD in the "Car Data" tab.
In the absence of data, we program the device for the car listed in the title of the auction from which the purchase took place.
